Patient Sensitive Design and Adoption of Small House Design Principles
The design is for a 14,138 SF addition and a 3,027 SF renovation to the connecting space. As the architect / engineer designer of record, Alesia provided a design for the addition and for the renovation of the transition space that includes these features and small house / CLC design principles. The central corridor was designed extra wide to enhance a boulevard concept, giving the feeling of a streetscape outside the patient bedrooms instead of a sterile corridor.
